Our Story
Joey Mama is the creation of two sisters, Madison & Georgia, from the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria. Joey Mama is not just an online store but something we have built into a community of mothers supporting one another through what can be the most amazing and challenging time of a woman's life. We have a range of items aimed to provide support throughout pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood.
Who we are
Madison & Georgia
We are both mothers, Georgia has three little girls, Bonnie, Louie and Goldie and Madison has a girl & a boy, Matilda & Brooks. When we aren't busy being mum's or running Joey Mama, you'll catch Georgia enjoying a long walk or Madison going for a run. We both enjoy a nice glass of wine with a delicious cheese platter and find equal enjoyment in getting dressed up for a night out or throwing pyjamas on at 5pm for a night on the couch.
why we started
Joey Mama
The idea for Joey Mama was born over a breakfast catch up when we were both pregnant, we had no intention of starting a business together but by the time breakfast was finished, the ball for Joey Mama had begun rolling. For both of us, motherhood came as a shock & while it's full to the brim of love, it also can have it's incredibly hard moments. We wanted to create a business where mother's can come & shop for themselves with a broad range of essential items that will get used time and time again.
